TripPack mobile app for author routes

Travel

BULLTECH has developed a TripPack mobile app for finding, navigating, and creating author routes

// Task

TripPack is a travel—tech service for independent travel and author routes.

The BULLTECH team was tasked with developing a mobile application that combines several scenarios at once: searching for tours, viewing route cards, completing a journey by stages, creating their own tour and working with a user profile.

The main difficulty was that the mobile product should be convenient not only for choosing a route, but also for using it directly on the way. The interface had to be built so that the user could quickly navigate the tour, see the route on the map, understand the structure of the stages and not lose the context while driving.

At the same time, the application had to support the second important scenario — the creation of an author's route from the phone, when the user does not just consume content, but collects a new journey from points and stages himself.

// Solution

01. We designed a mobile scenario around the journey itself

The application is based not on an abstract catalog, but on a real—world usage scenario on the road.

Therefore, the key actions of the user are brought to the fore: open the tour, study its contents, go to the route and start passing. The interface helps you quickly move from interest in the route to the journey itself.

02. We made the tour card informative, but not overloaded

The tour screen combines the main characteristics of the route in one place: author, date of publication, number of stages, duration, possible expenses, visual materials, tags and a brief description.

Due to this, the user can quickly evaluate the route even before the start of the passage and understand whether the travel format is suitable for him.

The key action — navigating to a route — is highlighted as the main CTA, so the path from browsing to using the service remains short and clear.

03. The entire route was shown before the start of the passage

Before starting, the user sees the entire route on the map: the location and number of stages, their sequence and the line of movement between the points.

This way you can estimate the structure of the tour in advance, understand its length and see how individual places add up to a single route.

04. The interface has been adapted to the user's position on the route

After the tour starts, the interface changes depending on where the user is located.

The map shows its current position and the next stage. When approaching the desired point, the application puts the user in the appropriate state and shows a stage card that can be interacted with.

So the map no longer works as a route diagram, but as a navigation tool directly during the tour.

05. Implemented the creation of a tour directly from the phone

The mobile application also provides an author's scenario — the user can create their own route.

The stages are added by searching for a point, selecting an address, placing a point on the map, and continuing the scenario for creating a tour. This approach makes geography part of the interface: the route is created not in an abstract form, but directly through working with the map.

This is especially important for a travel-tech product, where the card itself is the basis of a user action.

06. We have broken down a complex creation scenario into sequential steps

Creating a route is a potentially long and complex process, especially on a mobile device.

In order not to overload the user, the script was divided into short sequential actions. The user solves one task at a time: find a location, confirm a point, and move on to the next stage.

This approach lowers the entry threshold for content creation and makes the mobile interface suitable not only for viewing, but also for fully working with the route.

07. Added a social layer around the authors and their content

TripPack is not only about routes, but also about the people who create them.
Therefore, the user's profile occupies an important place in the mobile application: description, contacts, subscriptions, subscribers, photos and videos.

Through the profile, the user can better understand the author of the route, get acquainted with its content and proceed to further interaction.

This is how the service works not only as a navigation tool, but also as an environment around author's travels.

08. We have saved quick access to the main sections of the application

The navigation was set up so that the key sections were accessible without unnecessary transitions: the tour feed, search, creation, notifications and profile.

This is especially important for a mobile product: the user must quickly switch between scenarios without losing context or encountering an overloaded menu.

As a result, the application remains compact in structure, but at the same time supports several full-fledged user scenarios.

// Result

BULLTECH has developed the TripPack mobile app for iOS and Android, which combines author's tour search, route tracking, creating your own trips and interacting with user content.

The application's interface is built around a real-world travel scenario: the user can quickly open a tour, study its parameters, go to the route map and go through the stages of the journey. At the same time, the mobile product supports the author's scenario — creating your own route directly from your phone.

As a result, TripPack has received a mobile application that helps you work with travel content not only at the selection stage, but also at the time of the trip itself, linking the map, route, author and user experience within a single digital product.

TripPack has received a mobile application for iOS and Android, which combines 4 key user scenarios in one product: searching for author's tours, completing routes, creating your own trips and working with user content.

The map became the basis for both passing and creating routes, and a single navigation of 5 main sections provided quick access to all key functions of the service.

As a result, the mobile version supports a full cycle of travel experience, from choosing a tour to completing a route or creating your own
